How to Hang Your Acrylic Print

Your acrylic print arrives with mounting hardware included at no extra charge: a Hanger Set for smaller sizes or an Aluminium Backframe for larger ones. You will need a few basic tools and the right screws or hooks for your wall.

How to Hang Your Acrylic Print

Hanging Small Prints with the Hanger Set

If you have one of the smaller print sizes listed below, your order includes a Hanger Set supplied separately in the box. Attach it to the back of your print before hanging.

Print sizes

  • 30 × 20 cm (11.8 × 7.9 in)
  • 20 × 30 cm (7.9 × 11.8 in)

You will need

  • Wall screw (or screw hook)
  • Screwdriver (or drill, if required)
Attach the Hanger Set

Step 1

Attach the Hanger Set

  1. Peel the protective backing from the adhesive side of the Hanger Set.
  2. Check its position on the back of your print, then press firmly to stick it in place.

Once applied, the Hanger Set can be removed but is unlikely to be reusable, so allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to bond fully before hanging.

Mark your wall

Step 2

Mark your wall

  1. Hold the print against the wall and choose your final position.
  2. Lightly mark the wall with a pencil where the wall screw or screw hook will sit.
Fix to the wall

Step 3

Fix to the wall

  1. Fix a wall screw or screw hook to the wall at your marked position.
  2. Leave it protruding slightly from the wall so the Hanger Set can sit over it.
Hang your print

Step 4

Hang your print

  1. Hook the Hanger Set over the wall screw or screw hook.
  2. Step back and check it is straight.

Hanging Large Prints with the Aluminium Backframe

If you have one of the larger print sizes listed below, your order includes an Aluminium Backframe bonded to the back of the panel during production. It is permanently attached, holds the print slightly off the wall when mounted, and cannot be removed.

Print sizes

  • 60 × 40 cm (23.6 × 15.7 in)
  • 90 × 60 cm (35.4 × 23.6 in)
  • 120 × 80 cm (47.2 × 31.5 in)
  • 40 × 60 cm (15.7 × 23.6 in)
  • 60 × 90 cm (23.6 × 35.4 in)
  • 80 × 120 cm (31.5 × 47.2 in)

You will need

  • 2 wall screws
  • Screwdriver (or drill, if required)
  • Spirit level
The Aluminium Backframe

Step 1

The Aluminium Backframe

The back of your print should look like this: a recessed aluminium frame set in from the panel edges, with slim brushed-aluminium rails joined by corner brackets. When hung, the frame holds the print slightly off the wall.

Mark the wall

Step 2

Mark the wall

  1. Hold the print against the wall and choose your final position.
  2. Use a pencil and spirit level to mark both mounting points on the wall, aligned with the backframe, ensuring they are perfectly level with each other.
Fix to the wall

Step 3

Fix to the wall

  1. Fix two wall screws at your marked positions.
  2. Leave them protruding slightly from the wall so the backframe can mount onto them.
Hang your print

Step 4

Hang your print

  1. Lift the print and mount the backframe onto both wall screws.
  2. Step back and confirm the print is level and sits slightly off the wall.
