Frequently Asked Questions
How do I clean and care for my acrylic print?
Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, gently wipe with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the acrylic surface, and handle with care to prevent scratches.
How does it hang on the wall?
It depends on the size. Smaller sizes come with a hanger set so you can mount them without tools. Larger sizes ship with an aluminium backframe that holds the print a few millimetres off the wall for a striking, gallery-style finish.
Will the gloss surface cause glare or reflections?
The high-gloss face is what makes the colours look so vivid and deep. Like any glossy surface it can pick up some reflection in very bright, direct light, so we recommend hanging it on a wall that isn’t directly opposite a strong light source or window for the best effect.
How durable is an acrylic print?
Very. The print sits behind a 3 mm clear acrylic panel and is made from premium, lightweight, durable acrylic, so it stays in pristine condition for years. The surface is scratch-resistant and the UV-resistant inks are printed on the reverse, where they’re protected from fading. As with any acrylic, handle it with care to avoid scratches or cracks.
How big will it actually look on my wall?
Bigger than you’d think. Art always reads larger on a wall than in a photo. Smaller sizes suit shelves, nooks, and gallery walls; mid-size prints sit beautifully above a sofa or bed; larger sizes make a real statement on a feature wall. Use our size guide image to compare against everyday objects.
How long will it take to arrive?
Each acrylic print is made to order just for you. Production takes 1 working day, then 4–9 working days for delivery depending on your location, giving a total of 5–10 working days. You’ll get tracking as soon as it’s on its way. We ship to the UK and Europe.
What if I don’t like it?
No worry at all. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to request a return. The print must be in its original condition and packaging. Contact us at support@homearthaven.com to start the process. We’d rather you love it than keep it.
